We have recently submitted our proposal for NOS funding to UK Commission
for Employment and Skills (UKCES)
Industry support is crucial in the development of NOS and all standards
developed by us are owned by industry and freely available.

Skills for Security are developing the above suite in consultation with Industry practitioners. Expert Working Group meetings were held during April – November 2008 where new units were drafted to cover the critical activities within Information Destruction Operations. Following UKCES guidelines the NOS Directory was used to identify existing units and, where appropriate units have been imported from approved suites. It is extremely important that that as many people as possible comment upon these NOS from across the UK. The purpose of the consultation is to:

initial working groups held during May – November 2008.
