Information Destruction Operations NOS Wider Consultation

Skills for Security regularly undertake projects to develop new NOS and review existing ones to ensure they are up to date and fully reflect the job roles within the sector.

Details of current consultation can be found below:

  • NOS for Information Destruction Operations

Skills for Security are developing the above suite in consultation with Industry practitioners.

Expert Working Group meetings were held during April – November 2008 where new units were drafted to cover the critical activities within Information Destruction Operations. Following UKCES guidelines the NOS Directory was used to identify existing units and, where appropriate units have been imported from approved suites.

It is extremely important that that as many people as possible comment upon these NOS from across the UK. The purpose of the consultation is to:

  • Establish whether the draft NOS reflect the outcomes of competent performance across all those involved in Information Destruction Operations

For further information and an opportunity to comment, please see below:

Please return your completed questionnaire to Jo Ludlow (info.dest@skillsforsecurity.org.uk), no later than Monday 23rd January 2009.
