The Diploma in Sport and Active Leisure

 

Skills for Security are participating in arguably the most significant and exciting education reform for the 14-19

age group anywhere in the world.  The government are introducing 14 new qualifications called diplomas

that will be phased in over the next 4 years.  Skills for Security are participating in the development of the

Sport & Leisure Diploma which is lead by Skills Active.

Skills Active held a workshop in early July with colleges and universities from around the country which

highlighted a number of questions and issues that needed  addressing going forward. This consultation with

colleges and universities is just the first in a number of consultations with stakeholders to ensure the development
